Wine harvest for one weekend... (Grey Sands Vineyard Glengarry TAS - 10/04)

We left a voice message at this small vineyard during our grape harvest
search in March and did not think to get a positive answer.
But here we are, at our weekend harvest job ;-) picking grapes. We are paid
by hour, the work atmosphere is good and we even have boxes to sit on
because the grapes are low. Monday till Friday: raspberry pruning + weekend:
grape harvest = getting harvest workerholics!!!

Do I stay or do I go... (Grey Sands Vineyard Glengarry TAS - 10/04)

Jeremie is still hesitating... :-)

KTM break down again (Westbury TAS - 07/04)

During our last trip, I thought the engine was too noisy, I had to open and
check the valve clearance.
Here is what I found, a burned rocker arm (in the picture, circle in red), a
lost shim (blue) and a valve clearance above 5mm (green)!!!
According to the KTM shop, it should be covered by the warranty... let see
what KTM Australia says.
Our nice farmer host landed me his ute to bring the bike to the shop.
The annoying part is that we have to wait now and maybe delay our ferry to
the mainland again...

Punnet preparing (Berry Exchange Dunorlan TAS - 07/04)

While it is raining outside we are preparing in the shed punnets for the
next season.
This is very boring automatic work and after some hours we get crazyyy...
:-) and wish the sun comes back.

Back to work... (Berry Exchange Dunorlan TAS - 06/04)

After our short trip to Port Arthur on the Easter weekend, we are back at
work again.
We will get the raspberries specialists :-)...

Between water and rock... (Bicheno TAS - 05/04)

On our tour home on Easter Monday we stopped at the Bicheno blowhole.

KTM break down (Interlaken TAS - 03/04)

That starts now, the KTM seemed to be reliable, but it, now, fits to its
image of non-reliability: the fuel pump did not start anymore.
I opened the fuel pump system and everything seems connected.
I set everything back and it worked again... no explanation...

With the fire please, it is a fresh morning

Warming Lunch break (Liawenee TAS - 02/04)

We really have to buy a thermometer to know, but it was very cold!!
we could enjoy a nice wood fire for our lunch.

With that, we'll postpone the ferry ticket...

Following the hounds

Hello!!

After this hard work, the horses are rewarded with nice food and fresh water:

This is a tradition, nothing has been hunted:
1-One Master has a skin of wallabie soaked with anise alcohol at the end of a rope.
2-He is making the way with the smell of anise.
3- The hounds are released and run after this smell.
4- We are galoping after these hounds.
